ACademic matter

Throughout this year in English class, I have grown tremendously as a student and a person. I have learned to meaningfully analyze texts, thoughtfully reflect on situations, and demonstrate complex ideas, ultimately enhancing my writing abilities.

My descriptive narrative essay encapsulates one of the most challenging decisions I have ever faced and delves into the complications of my situation.

The rhetorical analysis essay delves into "Just Walk on By: A Black Man Ponders His Ability to Alter Public Space" by Brent Staples and analyzes the rhetoric strategies employed in this text and how they contribute to his purpose.

The argumentative research essay is an intriguing argument about the detrimental effects of early school start times on students and the imperative for change. 

My 100 Things Project put a fun and exciting spin on "The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder" by David Grann, creating a board game to go along with the plot.
